Sam Williams started this petition to Nathaniel Smith (Local Member for Wollondilly) and

Ever since the Australian government announced the NBN, the date of the service coming to the residents of Wilton NSW has been delayed time and time again. We are stuck on outdated copper internet lines connected to ADSL1. Take a stand against the NBN's ignorance of Wilton.

The ever changing nature of work switching to internet dependent services will continue to put a strain on the outdated network that we as a community are connected to. The people of Wilton are put at a major disadvantage when its comes to work, school and access to many internet services.

I conducted multiple speed tests during the middle of a business day and the average download speed was 0.58 Mbps, this is absolutely appalling. The global average download speed is 57.91 Mbps and the National average is 35.11 Mbps. (As of April 2019)

My internet will also cut out whenever the landline rings, have contacted Telstra on numerous occasions and most recently been told to wait for the NBN. Yet the roll out of the NBN to Wilton continues to be delayed, unless action is taken by the community.

The people of Wilton will not put up with this lackluster service anymore.

Sign this petition to take a stand against our poor internet service.
