annalise brick started this petition to Nashua School District

Currently, one of Nashua students' main concerns has to do with the district's dress code. Being able to express yourself is an important role in creating and discovering your self image and how you choose to portray yourself. That being said, there are always going to be regulations against things like the lengths of shorts and straps on shirts. The point of this is to make a change for hats! Many students feel as if they should be allowed to wear hats at school as long as they do not obstruct the Admins' ability to identify a person if necessary. Acceptable headgear would include baseball caps, snapbacks, bucket hats, beanies, and other knit hats. This rule change would still comply with safety requests and regulations and does NOT excuse behaviors that go against this. This is referring to masks, bandanas, or anything that obstructs the ability to identify a person. With your help, we can get the support we need in order to sway the minds of the district's admin.
