It has been noticed that central and state government these days are hiring more and more staffs on contract with fixed salary , in general there remains no allowance and the salary of a contractual employee remains at around 25% of the in hand salary taken by the employee who remains at same post or as per the pay scale decided for the same post.
It remains totally unfair for the person working with full effort and doing equal work as any of the person doing the same job as a permanent employee having the same qualification.
In general when we compare salary, facilities and allowances of a contractual employee and a permanent employee the salary remains far less, working hours remains equal or even more, leaves remains less, facilities remains far less plus threat of removal from job in case of asking for rightful demands and uncertainty of future are the main problems of contractual employees.
This trend is making people underemployed as well as underpaid which ultimately breaks their enthusiasm and will of doing the job properly as well as an increase of financial and psychological burden in the population.
All these things are not just the violation of Supreme Court's Decision of equal pay for equal work but also a shame for humanity because of such discriminations.
We people through this petition request you to make it mandatory for all the ministries and asking state governments to provide equal salary and allowances as per the basis of latest pay commission's pay scale and facilities as per recommendations for the particular posts.
Hope this petition will be heard and action will be taken for benefit of each and every Indian.
