Respected Everyone,

I am from Punjab, India and wanted to raise a issue beyond you that Indian Government is trying to vanish other regional languages being spoken in India. I mean to say that India is country made up of 29 states and every state has its own regional language. There are near about 25 Languages except Hindi which are being spoken by Indian but the Government of India is trying to vanish all these regional language because as Hindi a National language it is being promoted at a huge level instead of being other languages promoted equally. All the documents related to personal identification are being printed in Hindi for example Passports as well Adhaar Cards. It should be made compulsory to choose the language which is Mother Language of Citizens. As a democratic Country it is right of every person to speak the language of his choice. And also in all school's of Punjab including Government, CBSE & ICSE. Students speaks Hindi and it is in first place to speak and 2nd is English and last is Punjabi. So, with this our language becomes last language and teachers stop students to speak Punjabi language and in future Punjabi and other regional languages will distinct.

The Motive of writing this petition is to make aware the people of India regarding there mother languages. If it gets continued like this for more 20 years all the regional languages will get distinct which would not be good for our culture. Government should make a solution of this issue by adding a choice to every citizen to choose the language in which he or she is easy to get facility. For example I am citizen of Punjab and all the Personal proofs are being generated in Hindi and there is more than 80 percent of population who don't ever know the single word of Hindi. Such people are not able to understand what is written on their Personal proofs and Several mistakes are also made there. So I request you to Please share if you understand or agree with me.
