Revise the verdict on the case of Joseph Eye Hospital and the Doctors.

The judgement will only lead to a mentality where the Doctors will henceforth be scared to perform any kind of free service to the poor. This will only affect the poor and needy. Also there is no way that a Doctor or Organiser can be held responsible for contaminated eye drops, which is probably the fault of the manufacturer like in the case of Bilaspur tubectomy tragedy where the drug was found to be contaminated with rat poison. It is impossible to test each and every drug for contamination before administering. Free eye surgeries to the poor by organisations like Aravind Eye hospitals, Joseph Eye hospital are one of the main contributions for reducing the percentage of preventable blindness in the state of Tamil NAdu as well as India. A judgement like this will only provoke more Doctors to drop the free service that they offer by which many people benefit. The 1-year sentence and such a huge fine should be revised.
