Fix time-limit to cases in Indian courts

While feeling proud to be part of a very dynamic economy and a very progressive government lead by Modi Ji, one of the shortcomings that is often neglected is the inefficiency of the legal system in India. Many of the issues that are prevalent in Modern India is because of lack of time-bound justice.
We have very carefully defined laws and rules to make our life safe but the lack of a time limit to complete any case makes the law weak and gives more courage to the erring citizens.
Each case registered in court should have a maximum time within which judgement should be provided and one year being the maximum limit. This should be made as one of the primary responsibilities of the law ministry and necessary resources need to be worked backwards from there.
In a country where judgments are given after the accused has died or violations are barred after all the potential benefits have been reaped by businesses, a strict time-bound justice would prove as an incentive to the law abiding citizens and also will discourage law breakers.
