Gabriele Garzoglio started this petition to Naperville District 203 School Board

Currently, CDC continues to recommend hybrid/online learning for Illinois.  However, at the Naperville District 203 School Board meeting on Monday, March 1, a vocal group of parents requested the reopening of normal full-time classes effective immediately.

While we respect the position of our fellow parents, with this petition we are asking for the following:

1) District 203 continues to provide online and hybrid learning options for the remaining school year as well as the school year 2021-2022.  We ask that parents be given the freedom to choose the option that is best for their circumstances, considering the slow pace of vaccinations and the spreading of Covid-19 variants.

2) By the end of the school year (May 2021), the District 203 offers parents to choose their preferred learning options in order to provide enough time for parents to find/organize help they may need.

In summary, protecting our community from death and disease is the utmost importance: allowing families the freedom to choose the best learning option aligns with this priority.
