Nantucket BOS: Keep Public Parking & Enable Bike Path on Bartlett Farm Road
We need your help. Our neighbors at Bartlett Farm are unhappy with brewery customers parking the way they have been on Bartlett Farm Road, and are planning to move their fence to keep cars off of their property adjacent to the road. We understand their concern and have been trying to find solutions, but this change could have a serious impact on Cisco Brewers and our patrons, would impact surrounding businesses and our neighbors, and would cause an unsafe, aggravating situation for the public.
We propose widening the public right-of-way in order to accomodate safe parking and the construction of a bike path leading up to the farm and the beach access. We will contribute significant resources for the improvements and will continue actively to seek long-term solutions. For this season though we need some help from the Town. Please help us convince the Board of Selectmen in their role of County Commissioners to take action to lead to a happy outcome.
Of course we hope that when possible you will carpool, cab, shuttle, bike and walk out to visit us and the farm, enjoying the awesome new Hummock Pond Road bike path!
Please know that we are not anti-Bartlett but are pro-solutions! Thank you as always for being such cool and supportive customers.
Dean, Jay, Melissa, Randy, Wendy, and the Entire Growing Cisco Family
