There MUST be reform to the police departments in America! Here is what must be done:

1. Immediate, INDEPENDENT review of ALL police related shootings.
2. Any officer with two or more complaint reports must face an independent review that could lead to dismissal and/or prosecution.
3. THOUROUGH background checks of all police applicants to identify any ties to white supremacist organizations.
4. EXTENSIVE psychological testing of police applicants to identify racial bias.
5. Dismissal of any officers who conspire to cover up police misconduct.
6. ENHANCE (additional time) sentencing of officers who commit crimes under the color of authority.
7. ROBUST recruitment of minorities to the ranks of police.
8. Develop a culturally based community policing strategy.
9. Disable the police union’s power to influence the investigation of police misconduct.
