It's worrisone that the USA is still resistant to Metric and one eerie example of Faux Spews' Tucker Carlson who claims that the Metric System is "the yoke of tyranny". We need to mandate by law that science classes only use metric since the USA's transition to metric shouldn't be optional, but required.

I am someone who believes that the SI/teric system is rooted in logic, whereas the US customary system is not, in addition to SI beign easier to use.

Stop using old imperial units when the metric system is so much more logical. Metric divides into units of 10 while imperial is divided by random conversion units.

The United States needs to join the rest of the world in using the metric system. Making it compulsory in science classes would be a good step in this direction.

Also, it wouldn't hurt at all. When I was a boy we did Chemistry experiments measured in metric, and that was years before we switched to the Metric System.

Exact measurements are extremely important in science. And it can not be left up to a mismatched jumble of units to carry out precise calculation on these measurements. Especially since the metric system was derived from scientific the scientific process, to unite the different professions under a single unit of measure, for each property to measure.

The colonial measurement non-system should have been dumped decades ago.

I read years ago in the Guinness World Records book that only metric units are universally accepted for some scientific and sports data. So it makes sense to use the system used in this circumstance outside the school gate to familiarise pupils with it.

We used to be better a metric. Imperial units are being promoted by people who only learnt metric at school this is silly. Those of us who went to school in the 1960's learnt why decimalisation made things easy.
