Sean Burkey is a renowned student at Landmark Middle who has helped make a lasting impact on its students and staff. Sean is a beloved member of the school's activities, classes, and clubs. He has also won our school spelling bee, beat out hundreds of other students to make it to the district's spelling bee, and is seen as a prodigy to his fellow peers. As a result, myself, and a group of several other students have started a movement to have our school auditorium renamed in his honor. A commemoration plaque will be placed at the auditorium's entrance and it can be referred to as "The Burkitorium" or just simply "The Sean Burkey Auditorium". By renaming our auditorium, it will help emphasize the benefits that Sean has brought to our lovely school.
