Do your job. Immediately announce income compensation.

Lessons from the last shutdown:
1. Karnataka Government declared income help too late, 5 months after the initial lockdown.
2. Paid, elected representatives (MLA, MP, MLC, city Corporators, zilla members, Panchayat members) did only cosmetic help  because they did not receive guidance from their party leadership.
3. Lockdown benefits flowed to Corporates, businesses and the corrupt. The daily wage earner was ignored.
4. Relief money mostly spent on wasteful "construction" projects

We request the following actions immediately:
1. Karnataka government to publish and implement a transparent income support plan focussed on daily wage earners (tiny informal businesses, auto/Taxi/Truck drivers, vegetable vendors, street vendors etc.) - Due 1 week from announcement of lockdown
2. All major political parties to publish instructions to their paid, elected representatives on their role, actions expected and time to be dedicated - Due 1 week from announcement of lockdown
3. Government (leveraging admin, paid elected representatives etc) to publish a plan to prevent leakage of income compensation. - Due 1 week from announcement of lockdown.
