The high water levels in Spring and Summer (May to August) on Red Indian Lake are causing damage to property (Cabins, decks, boats). Every year the water level in the lake rises and erodes the shoreline, damaging the properties of area residents with cabins on the lake shore. This results in a dangerous and expensive situation for cabin owners in the area. Nalcor must control the water levels on the lake to prevent further damage to property.
