Nak'azdli Youth Center is requiring youth to provide proof of vaccination in order to participate in their programs and drop in center. 

This discriminates against youth who are not vaccinated for COVID-19 and put them at risk. With the current overdose epidemic and drugs so easily accessible to the youth in the community, preventing youth from accessing a safe alternative is dangerous and irresponsible.

There are other ways to ensure our youth stay safe from COVID-19 that are more inclusive, including temperature checks, regular hand washing, social distancing and mask mandates.

 Nak'azdli Youth Center needs to provide ALL of the community's youth with a safe, drug free space. Especially for those children who are already at risk.

Please sign this petition and let Nak'azdli Whut'en Chief & Council know the Nak'azdli Youth Center should be open to ALL youth.
