Christian Laettner is a true college basketball legend. He is one of only four players all time to play in four straight NCAA Final Fours and is the only player to ever start four straight Final Fours. He also won back-to-back National Championships. Christian Laettner holds numerous NCAA Tournament records including:

- Most points scored: 407
- Most free throws made: 142
- Most free throw attempts: 167
- Most games played: 23

He also has quite arguably the most iconic moment in NCAA Tournament history with "The Shot." Laettner also won several national player of the year awards including Naismith College Player of the Year, John R. Wooden Award, USBWA Player of the Year, AP College Player of the Year, Sporting News College Player of the Year, among others. He also was chosen as the lone college representative for the 1992 Men's Olympic Basketball team known as "The Dream Team."
