I am trying to get some attention brought upon how wrong it is that these veterinarian clinics excessivly over charge there customers. there are laws that if you abandoned or abuse and mistreat an animal that you can get fined and or jail time, but if you take your pet for an emergency vet visit and they over charge you like they did me then pretty much our only option if we cant come up with all the money right then and there then we either have to put our pet down or just ;let it die slowly and painfully. I had to just take my dog oreo she is my 9 year old terrior boxer mix to the greater buffalo veternarian emergency clinic and since my husband was very emotional they tried to take advantage of him and extort him with a price of over $800 until his mother thought that was insane and asked to speak to them after a lil bit. all of a sudden the price went down to $497. They saw someone vulnurble and upset not knowing what was wrong with our baby that we had since she was 5 weeks old and tried to get all kinds of money. they still dont no whats wrong with her and if we take her back there to obv. so more test and obv its going to be alot more money that we dont have at once how can they not offer payment plans to low income people.
