COVID pandemic caused many kids to be delayed in finishing drivers ed. This led to them getting their permits late. Since you have to have your permit for a full year, these kids will not be able to get their license on their 16th birthday. This is completely unfair since it is due to a pandemic that is completely out of their control. Please allow those kids affected by the quarantine related to COVID to still get their license on their birthday as long as they have the 70 required driving hours. Don’t spoil these kids’ 16th birthdays because of a pandemic.
