On Saturday, September 4th, 2021, my mother plans on going out to dinner with her boyfriend late in the afternoon.  My girlfriend and I are planning on hanging out at my place that same day, and my mom says that we will have to go out to dinner with them because, as she said, "As much as I want to trust you, I know you're gonna want to move your physical relationship forward that day if I leave you two home alone."  I believe that my girlfriend and I should be free to advance our physical relationship at our own pace, and not have that pace be impeded by an outside source when my mom can easily just go out to dinner and leave us at home alone.  Whether or not we go out to dinner with her doesn't affect my mother in any way, so we should be free to make the choice as to whether we want to or not.  In fact, it should be better for her if we stayed behind, so she could have private time of her own with her boyfriend.  Everyone wins if she just allows us to stay home while she goes out to dinner this Saturday.  So I made this petition to gather supporters for my cause that my girlfriend and I have the right to make the choice as to whether or not we want to go out to dinner that day, and have the proof to show my mother that there are others who agree with my case.
