Earlier this month I submitted plans required to the SDCEA EC to paint my home a new color. We chose Benjamin Moore’s Van Deusen Blue and keeping all of our trim the white that it is today.  Our application was denied stating to “resubmit with a lighter house body color more compatible with the neighborhood and complimenting red tile roof”. ~we haven’t had a red tile roof in 7 years~ As others in my community have done, I’ve spent hours driving around taking pictures (in general being a creeper of sorts �) of houses with similar blue colors, a variety of homes with dark coloring (grays/greens/browns) and some that are just plain crazy.  Please help us stand and show the committee that color is great!
