My daughter was raped by an acquaintance and didn't say a word. She got pregnant and when the father demanded custody, she came forward. But now no one believes that it happened. The prosecutor turns her away time and time again. He had visitation rights, but right now we are in a battle for her daughter's life. She has been violated by my daughter's rapist (child's father) in many fashions. We are going to court but it seems their on his side and he is continuing to fight for custody. It appears to me he is using the court to manipulate the system. I don't know what to do or where to turn. Someone please help my daughter and granddaughter. We need someone to believe in them. We are living a nightmare. Victims need their voices heard. I'm tired of officials not believing in the victims. The statistics are outrageous. The fight is exhausting when your on the end where no one believes you. Thanks.
