As students have been attending online classes for more than 2 years now it's tough and impossible for them to prepare themselves mentally and physically for offline examinations in approximately 2 months before their final semester. I urge the concerned authority that is Mumbai University to kindly consider online examination or internal assessment for this final session of 2022 of Traditional Courses on the basis of : - 

1. The lectures were conducted online for the first half of this year, it was then converted to hybrid (online/offline) but alot of students preferred online lectures to ensure their safety as the Omicron cases kept rising.

2. There was a delay on the part of Mumbai University to let students know that they will be having offline examinations the coming summer, students would have started preparing themselves for offline examinations if they were informed in the start of this session. But Mumbai University released it on 11th February 2022 which is nearly 2 months away from examinations (reference link: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mumbailive.com/amp/en/education/most-mumbai-university-course-exams-will-be-held-offline-71583 ) 

3. Sudden spike of students travelling by public transport will unfortunately lead to a rise in Covid cases and risking the lives of fellow students, teachers and their family members.

One fellow student committed suicide due to exams being conducted offline (reference link : https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newindianexpress.com/nation/2022/feb/23/mp-upset-over-offline-exams-class-10-student-commits-suicide-2422820.amp )   Education system is about learning not stressing students out. Offline classes and exams should be resumed but with proper planning and execution. We can't expect fellow students to attend classes online and then appear for offline exams.

I urge the respectable leaders of Maharashtra to kindly consider this plea by the students/voters of this state.
