On 02 September 2020 the Government of India announced ban on 118 Chinese apps including PUBG. This has left 33 Million active PUBG users in India devastated, heartbroken, and some out of a side source of income. PUBG was more than just a game to its users - it became a country-wide sensation, evoking a feeling of togetherness, where users of all caste, age, race, sex came together on the same battleground for the end winner winner chicken dinner. PUBG is a game that breeds passion for its users & has become a household name for many. There are millions of users who used to play PUBG to relieve stress, meet friends & have a chat with them while still practicing social distancing. PUBG had also become a livelihood for many online streamers who are now jobless.

We propose that - Jio Should buy PUBG not just for the billions of dollar revenue it can generate but for the happiness it will bring to the 33 million active users who love the game. It will also help Jio to enter in the gaming industry which is worth $18.4 billion and is forecasted to reach a whopping $230 billion by 2022. Also, Jio should buy PUBG so that data of the Indian audience can stay protected with a trusted Indian company. We feel this deal will be a winner-winner chicken dinner for Jio as well as the 33 million active Indian users of the game.

This petition is the last hope for the Indian PUBG players and we the Indian community of PUBG request Mr. Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani and all the directors of Jio to buy PUBG from Tencent and bring back PUBG mobile to India once again.
