  • We call upon the people to be in Solidarity of Olwethu and Siphumeze young men who sell along the N2 next to the Engine garage in Norwood Mthatha. KSD municipality confiscated their goods unlawfully without even counting their stock, which is not the first time and these goods were “lost” in some other time. The law enforcers demanded R2000 which they don’t have.

This cruel act happened just after the release of SA unemployment stats, the highest ever of 64% YOUTH unemployment. This has lead to these 2 young men not being able to provide for their families which they are provide to put food on the table. We plead with people to pledge solidarity and support the demand for the FREE release of their goods.

We had mobilized a protest to the KSD Municipal offices(Munitata) on Friday the 10 of Sept @ 8 am, we converge at next to Engine where they used to sell their goods.  Please put your name as a signature to pledge solidarity.
