A few weeks ago, Mt. Wilson Broadcasters decided to change formats on 1260 AM, moving away from the oldies format and changing to a classical format.  They have done this as the owner of Mt. Wilson Broadcasters believes AM analog is not the future, but rather digital broadcast is.  We believe this is not the case as most car radios do not support digital broadcast, and many other broadcast stations have removed digital carriers in recent years.  1260 AM LA Oldies was the only real oldies broadcast station in Los Angeles, and its loss is devastating to both the radio enthusiast and casual listener community alike.  We are petitioning to bring it back to AM.
