The students of Year 12 at Mosman High feel extremely disadvantaged and unprepared for trial examinations to commence as usual, when circumstances are clearly not normal. We have missed out on two weeks of potential holiday classes, as they had to be cancelled due to lockdown. We miss out on a further week of face to face and talking to teachers for help, and doing guided exam preparation when term recommenced with remote learning. Furthermore, google docs, google classroom went down as the Department of Education had a cyber attack, and students are unable to email teachers for help, drafts, questions etc. We feel extremely inept to commence trials at this time, and wish for trials to be pushed back atleast a week to make up for the week of learning lost to remote learning ahead of trials.
