With Covid-19 on the rise our school just limited the attendance at RLMS basketball games to ONLY 2 family per player or per cheerleader which we think is very unfair.  Without the RLMS bomb squad games will be very different, the stands will be empty and quiet enough to hear a pin drop.  This will not hype up the players on our team enough, and in other instances will not distract the other team while shooting free throws, and etc.  Without the bomb squad there will also be no urge to win and make good plays because it will not be in front of their teachers and friends.  This would  result in many losses which would be very bad for the school sprit.  We feel that the huge gym has plenty of space for us, and without student it will not be put to good use because in the future there might not be a middle school bomb squad.  Although we respect trying to keep kids safe with the rise of covid-19, we feel that there is plenty of space.  A way to solve this would be to put the other side bleacher down for the bomb squad, and put tape or something down.  More specifically according to the CDC If you are vaccinated and wearing a mask there is a very low risk of spreading covid-19 indoors. We feel that with your help we could work something out so we can watch our peers compete.
