Issue Passport in Local Languages

The Government has recently stated its decision to issue passports both in English and Hindi. While a step in the right direction, the move does not benefit a large section of India who speak other languages.
Around 7 Million Malayalis work in the Gulf region as workers. Around 2 million Tamils work and live in South-East Asia. Telugu and Punjabi speakers are spread across North America while Bengalis have a substantial presence in Europe. The move excludes all of them.
Cost and complexity won't be an issue - there are countries smaller than us issuing passports for far less people. There are more people speaking our "regional" languages than people speaking German or French in their own countries.
Sign my petition to request the Government to issue passports in all 22 scheduled languages of the country - English and the local language to benefit the people.
