Class of 2020 deserves to graduate and have prom just as much as the graduates from previous years did. A lot of students have had to go through a rough time in high school but were patient and looking forward to prom and graduation. Parents also deserve to see their children walk on stage to receive their diploma with their graduation gown on. We were taught well by our teachers and we know how dangerous COVID-19 is. We’re not asking to have prom and a graduation on the day we were supposed to have it. However, we’re asking to have one when COVID-19 completely disappears and life goes back to normal, even if that means having them when we’re in university.
