As an alumni (1974), I am appalled by frivolous spending by the Board of Govenors. Drs A & C have done their utmost to solve this situation in a very professional manner whereas the BOG have been very unprofessional and lacking transparency!

This board appears to not act in good faith towards this couple and the community at large.

Come on Laurentian. You are acting like a bully. The offers that have been made are more than fair. As an alumnus of Laurentian I am disgusted. No wonder you are bankrupt both financially and morally.

From My View;=From My reading.= If Laurentian University received taxpayer money it is NOT private.= A government audit MUST be done IF they are asking for taxpayer protection.

I humbly suggest that all Board members of LU take a long self-look in the mirror. There’s a bully somewhere out there with a personal grudge. Maybe it’s time for the others to speak up?

I find the Laurentian Board’s aggressive bullying tactics completely unacceptable. They are irrationally focussed on this one couple’s property issue while ignoring or positively supporting additional land disputes. The Province needs to take a bigger role here to come to a fair solution. It almost seems like there’s a personal vendetta happening here...it seems so personally focussed! People should cancel donations to Laurentian until this is fairly resolved.

It seems that James and Dominique are doing their utmost to reach a mutually beneficial agreement and have not been met with appropriate consultation, but have been denied the opportunity by being shut out.
I am from Northern Ontario and I am dismayed by these reports of LU and its boards applying policies in erratic and un transparent ways.
