a lot of other schools have received snow days/ snow holidays, because their schools want them to enjoy the year as normal as possible. enabling students to experience normal life (ie. snow days) in this time of COVID, is essential for us to escape from this awful reality. we (the students) find that if the school allows us to have a day to enjoy the snow, play, and indulge in the full experience of the snow day, it will help us feel at home. this year has come with many challenges and hardships, therefore having a day to truly feel normal is very important to us. we understand the hesitation presented by the school, and are sympathetic to the circumstances, so we are asking you to be sympathetic to ours. we hope you will take this all into consideration, and reevaluate the decision to keep school open.
