Everyday in the lunchroom cafeteria, we use single-use plastic forks. Forks that will take 1,000 years to break down, end up in a landfill, and may end up in the ocean. If you think about it, there are hundreds of students in Pelham High School, and many of those students eat lunch in the cafeteria. 100% of those students will have to use forks to consume their food. This adds up to hundreds of pounds of plastic forks being thrown away every year. Sign this petition to ask the School administration to switch to metal forks to preserve the environment and cut down on their cost of buying single-use plastic forks   for their students.
