Since testosterone is not related to prostate cancer in dogs as it is in humans, removing the balls doesn’t decreases the change of prostate cancer, it increases it. Neutered dogs are more likely to get prostate cancer than intact dogs. It also decreases dogs energy level and can cause joint diseases such as hip dysplasia and cranial cruciate ligament rupture.
