Having lunch at 9:40 is extremely early. We are about 2 hours into the school day and it is unnecessary to have lunch at this time. If we are able to have lunch at 12:05 on two hour delay days, there should not be a reason to not have a 12:05 lunch on a regular day. It is much more logical and efficient for the students health. If we eat at 9:40, by the time it is about 12, students could be hungry, not able to perform well in their class, and even pass out. Especially in shops where they are constantly moving and using energy. We are also not allowed to have snacks during shop. If moving the lunch time isn't possible for some reason, another option could be creating a second break for shops sometime near 12:00 PM. for those who have the 9:40 AM lunch. The smarter thing to do would to create a 12:05 lunch. A 9:40 lunch is basically a late breakfast and will leave students hungry for the rest of the day.
