No Zero Lunch is a pitiful excuse for teachers not to do their biggest priority of their job: Teach. Instead of directly targeting the problem of students not attending tutorials or advisory periods; they instituted an indirect solution that punishes everyone. High schoolers are being treated like middle schoolers and this decision makes detentions as well as advisory obsolete. No Zero Lunch should be replaced with punishment for not attending scheduled advisories or tutorials, so it directly addresses the problem without getting others involved. Without a teacher in the multi-media room, the students aren’t learning and the only thing they’re learning is that the teacher doesn’t care enough about them to directly teach them the subject they’re missing.
