The Marilyn Monroe cardboard cutout is an important symbol to the music and drama department of Francis Scott Key Highschool. Since Mr. Workman has become the new chorus teacher he has locked her away in the dark and cold storage space where she is lonely and stares out to the classroom longing to be apart of the class and be one with the students. Marilyn Monroe is a vital element to the 801 classroom where as soon as you walk into the room and see Marilyn she instantly improves ones mood! But alas, Marilyn Monroe sits in the baren storage room unable to uplift the students and create a joyful class environment. Mr. Workman has said that if he can get a Pennywise cardboard cutout that the Marilyn Monroe cutout can come back but there is pushback to the idea of a Pennywise cutout joining the classroom and this petition will be a way to tell Mr. Workman that there doesn't need to be such a controversial addition to a classroom just to bring back our beloved Marilyn Monroe who, unlike Pennywise, is loved and very popular among the students. I now ask you to please sign this petition so we can bring Marilyn Monroe out of the lonely storage room and into the classroom where the students can once again be with Marilyn and enjoy her uplifting presence.
