Laurel Smith started this petition to Mr. Rot

Farmer’s Field, the salad place in Green Hall, is hands down the best healthy dining option on Liberty’s campus. Offering fresh salads made with love, Farmer’s Field brings joy and wellness to all who choose to use a meal swipe there. However, despite being the foremost adored and healthy option on campus, Farmer’s Field is only open until 3pm on weekdays. This is a travesty of vast proportions—leading to health problems and crisis all around Liberty. Where are Liberty students to go for dinner when the prominent healthy option at north (and across campus) is closed? Are they to resort to eating Chick Fil A for the fourth time in a week? Or perhaps settle for an unbalanced meal of a mere smoothie from Natural?

Few health-conscious Liberty students are lucky enough to afford the time to walk to North to obtain a delicious salad before 3pm. Most main campus students must stay on main campus for class, resulting in the use of a swipe at one of the many options there. But main campus is all too mundane; one can only have the rot so many times in a week.

Liberty students who wish to eat healthy more than one meal per day are in agony over this new change in dining hours; gone are the days prior of Farmer’s Field being open for lunch AND dinner.

The resolution to this catastrophic problem is simple; keep Farmer’s Field open for dinner during the week. Should Mr. Rot choose to accept this petition, students all around campus will celebrate in their healthy dining option, their newfound endorphins from a balanced diet, and even an increase in overall GPA. The answer is simple and the rewards are many.

Sign this petition if you want to have healthy dining options all throughout campus at all times during the day—not just before 3pm. It is what we deserve. It is what we all need.
