The Bloomsburg board as recently made the wearing of masks optional for all students and teachers. They explained that since the recent COVID spike is lowering, masks aren't necessary. 

The reason the spike is lowering is because of the use of masks, and students without covering up could put kids with immunocompromised families at risk of contracting the virus. Other school districts nearby have made wearing masks optional and their schools have had an increased amount of cases, so it's almost certain the same will happen to us. Masks are extremely important for our safety and should be made mandatory.
