Ever since I've come to my school, we've been able to listen to music from SoundCloud while we do work on the computers they give us. Our school has a website blocker, which makes it so many websites with games, inappropriate videos etc are not accessible to students. YouTube also has restrictions, so many music videos are blocked. This is fine, and I think that the website-blocker is doing its job properly. 

A little bit ago, though, SoundCloud was blocked. I, being a teenager without a phone, was upset. Majority of the songs on SoundCloud are already blocked because of it's premium option, and other music-playing sites like Spotify are blocked. When I looked at the reason it was blocked it said it was "streaming media". Okay.

The thing is, majority of the kids at my school have phones, so they listen to music with them. I'm certain I'm one of the only kids that use this school computer to listen to music at home. We also can't put up music since it's not within the limitations these computers have. 

I may seem a bit whiny, but when I come home from school, I don't have ANYTHING to do. Listening to music makes it a bit more bearable. Un-banning SoundCloud won't really change anything, except making me and maybe 4 other people pretty happy.
