Allow the public a say as part of the examination into the Arun local plan.

Arun are submitting a local plan for examination by Planning Inspector Mr Jonathan Bore. The plan includes proposals for 20,000 new houses with little nailed down in terms of infrastructure improvements in areas like transport and sewage. Some allocations change the character of villages forever and build on prime agricultural land. Recently written and adopted neighbourhood plans are having policies declared out of date because of the higher housing numbers. Whether you support or oppose the plan one thing can unify us all. Public involvement and consultation has been conspicuous by its absence. It is crucial that the Inspector in charge of proceedings at the examination allows an evening session for the public to make their comments.
