Cords for Basic Class of 2018 and beyond!
This petition had 148 supporters
Pulling steam from the movement from last school year, we're pulling out stops this year to keep this tradition. Our group succeeded in restoring cords for the 2017 Senior class from Basic Academy, and now our mission is to finish what we started.
Our administration made a decision and reverted their stance on allowing cords during the graduation ceremony. While academic cords are allowed, extracurricular cords were abolished. The decision has yet to be made as of this year, but this petition is to send a message to the Basic Academy administration and let them know we want our cords.
Our organization is formulating a plan in an attempt to compromise in any event, but our first priority is to send a loud and clear message to Basic Administration that this is in the best interest of the students they work so hard for.
I strongly urge that all who view this petition support it, and we will post regular updates regarding the status of the movement.
