It is important that our taxi fares are regularised,as not to allow drivers to abuse commuters by continually increasing fares.Our transportation system needs to be seriously revisited.We need a reliable bus service.So that this kind of blatant abuse would cease.

During the pandemic with all the protocols,restrictions and reduced passenger capacity, the mean justified the end.However as of Monday 7th March,2022,our goodly prime minister Dr Keith Rowley,lifted the reduced passenger restriction.So for the taxi drivers to think, their hiked up fare must continue.That is such an erroneous way to show their prowess,but all I see was/is wicked,conniving and unreasonable taxi drivers, especially the SHORT drivers.

To my residents,evil would continue to reign when good people do nothing.So this is and should not be a one woman fight.Imagine you have to wait 20-30 minutes to get a taxi to La Horquetta but to utter amazement the taxi is lined with taxis going SHORT.Well we are now forced to travel in (P)cars.By travelling in (P) I am not covered by insurance,God forbid something should happen.
