As one can tell by the Braves spirit days the student body has had at school, there are many big Braves baseball fans throughout the St. Pius X community. The last time the Braves won the world series was in 1995, many years before the students were born. Now, the Braves have come up and taken the spotlight across the nation once again. We feel that we should be able to attend the parade and celebrate this great accomplishment that has dug the city out of its "Atlanta Sports Curse." We feel that the St. Pius X students have been working hard through this school year in and outside of the classroom and deserve a day off to show our support for the Atlanta Braves!
