I want students at Richard Henry Dana Middle school to be able to use their smartphones out of class without the consequences of them being taken away. The Principle of our school says he wants us to start communicating and being social again after distance learning ended. But what he doesn't understand is that we use our phones to communicate. The first year I was at this school, we were allowed to use our phones outside of the classroom, and it didn't stop communication, but multiplied it. People shared funny videos, played games, and took pictures with friends that will last forever. I want to be able to continue to do that as it is my last year at this school.
