In recent years, Costa Rica has made great strides towards ensuring welfare for both wild and domestic animals. However, some archaic laws and regulations still exist. One such law involves the importation of Big Cats for human entertainment. Circuses have been banned in Costa Rica, yet displaying Big Cats in captivity for financial gain is no different than a circus. Please sign this petition and send a strong message to the Costa Rican government that Big Cats belong in the wild, not on display in cages in Costa Rica!
