Today I had ISD  for pajama pants. I feel like Pajama pants should not be apart of the dress code. In fact I feel like some of the dress code shouldn't even be apart of the dress code. In the middle school planer Rule 15 says "No excessive or distracting make-up" How could make-up be distracting at all? If it makes anyone feel better about them self then why should that be a problem? Rule 5 talks about sweat pants with writing on the seat part but after that says "Pajamas are not to be worn".  What if those are the only pants I had? or what if I just wanted to be comfortable for the day? what's the problem with being comfortable? Rule 6 "Holes in clothing that expose skin above the knee are not permitted" If holes are above the knee and is showing your thigh why does it matter? like oh no your thigh is showing you have to change into gym shorts that are going to show your thighs anyway. Rule 8 No midriff tops. why does showing off your stomach matter? if people feel comfortable wearing it and being in their body then it should not matter. There's so much more I can say about the dress code. But i'm going to stop there  hopefully you will sign the petition and agree with me that they need to change the dress code and to be less strict with the dress code
