The British Government continue to keep pushing for the United Kingdom to become more healthier and fit, what they do not realise is that it’s quite expensive for the public to actually use the fitness facilities provided on a regular basis.
Understandably there are different schemes put in place for using the facilities but they are still not affordable to the average person like you and I.

In order for the public to be motivated to use the facilities and keep it up for a longer period of time, I put the recommendation forward for the pricing of becoming a member or using the fitness facilities to be cut by a substantial amount, or for there to be a scheme put in place where if you work and live in the UK you should be able to gain free access to the fitness facilities and not have to pay any added tax for this.

I, personally and my family would love to go and use gym or swimming pool every day or so to keep ourselves fit and healthy but it’s just simply not cost effective for us to actually use. It shouldn’t be this way in this day and age. We should not have to pay to maintain and up keep good health.

This act would also benefit the Government and save them money on NHS bills as the public would not be draining NHS resources as we would be keeping good health due to using fitness facilities more.
