Rachel... The above can be used to let your MP understand the gravity of the situation as well you could write that your colleagues Karen Vecchio and Micheal Chong at a virtual Townhall on Jan 27 2021 admitted to knowing about the Great Reset and that TRUDEAU is trying to implement the plan. Mr Chong said that he didn't think it was the right time to bring in the new world economy. Part of the plan is a universal income.
From Wikipedia Universal basic income (UBI), also called unconditional basic income, basic income, citizen's income, citizen's basic income, basic income guarantee, basic living stipend, guaranteed annual income, universal income security program or universal demogrant, is a theoretical governmental public program for a periodic payment delivered to all citizens of a given population without a means test or work requirement.[2] A basic income can be implemented nationally, regionally, or locally. If the level is sufficient to meet a person's basic needs (i.e., at or above the poverty line) it is sometimes called a full basic income; if it is less than that amount, it may be called a partial basic income.
Inflation could be triggered because of the increase in demand for goods and services
There won't be an increased standard of living in the long run because of inflated prices
A reduced program with smaller payments won't make a real difference to poverty-stricken families
Free income may not incentivize people to get jobs, and could make work seem optional
Free income could perpetuate the falling labor force participation rate
There are many opposed to handouts for the unemployed
Many recipients might prefer to live on the free income rather than get a job. They would not acquire work skills or a good resume. It could prevent them from ever getting a good job in a competitive environment. It could reduce an already-falling labor force participation rate.
Canada
Canada is experimenting with a three-year universal income program.23 It's giving 4,000 Ontario residents living in poverty C$17,000 a year or C$24,000/couple. The government expects it will cost C$50 million annually.
Now what if the income was for everyone because there is no
means test... It would cost trillions of dollars. Where is the money coming from? CANADA borrows from the world bank... CANADA becomes collateral.
