Residents and citizens living in the Cedar Creek and Cedar Lakes, Fourways area are exposed to intolerable amounts of smoke pollution from neighboring areas. It has now reached a point where their health and lifestyle is being impacted. We request that this environmental issue be dealt with, before the impact on the environment and the health of residents is impacted to the point that the damage is irreversible. The burning of waste in informal settlements needs to be replaced by better service delivery to these settlements.
