We are a group of Office Products dealers who have experienced the move towards buying from local businesses during the recent pandemic. Our mission is to keep the trend going as the economy starts up again, by demanding large businesses and government organisations actively strive to use more local companies for their stationery, office supplies and other items.

By 2022, the government plans that one third of its spend on goods and services will be with Small and Medium-Sized enterprises (SMEs) including Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises (VCSEs), either directly or through the supply chain. We are demanding that this target is met and updates of progress are made public.

It is all too easy for such "plans" to get lost and forgotten, only by continuing to demand updates of where the "plan" is at will focus remain on giving smaller, local, businesses a fairer opportunity to compete in markets where they are more than capable of meeting all the cost and supply demands required in a fair, honest and transparent manner.

We strongly believe that the "plan" should be a "commitment" with accountability along the way. By taking the lead in this important matter, government will encourage other large businesses to follow suit and enable our local economies to thrive.
