Sinfin surgery at the moment is terrible, it needs urgent improvement. Let me be clear, the medical staff are fine. it's the mismanagement at the top and by association how their admin staff operate that is the issue.

it is wholly unacceptable how they book appointments, 8am lines open your on hold for 40 minutes on average behind 10 other people. Then when you get through you have to pray theirs an appointment available, only for it to be for that day (which if you work, is incredibly hard to fit in!) on top of that I've personally had countless issues with them cocking up information, from not updating my details, to failing to pass on vital information about pregnancy appointments. I personally have had a period where for over 2 weeks I couldn't get an appointment.

what I'm campaigning for is for their system to be reviewed and improved by whomever can do the job, whether that's internally via pressure from this group or whether this requires external bodies getting involved. ideally a system like my previous GP practice where you can book an appointment even if it's a week and a half ahead so that you can have security. and to make them add additional call handlers in the morning at the very minimum. I do feel that the attitude of the staff reflects the fed up nature of people like me who must constantly complain to them to no effect.

together we can get the change we deserve! this is a vital medical provision for our community and currently it's not fit for purpose!
